Alexandria Soccer’s 15U/2003 Girls age group are looking for committed and talented players for the upcoming 2017-2018 year. The age group is lead by Ryan Alexander (Sidwell Friends Varsity Head Coach; former professional player). All players benefit from our nationally-recognized 9U-19U club curriculum that stresses technical ability, game intelligence, and an attractive style of play. Thunder SC Red Stars and Pride teams – Our raising U15 girls travel program is looking to add motivated, creative, and skilled players to our 2 teams for the upcoming Fall 2017 season. We offer year round training and play by licensed and professional coaches in a fun but competitive environment. The Red Stars team (NCSL D1 Runners up in the Spring 2017) is coached by David Awasum who played high-level collegiate soccer. The Pride team is coached by Patrick Nairn, a veteran coach who played high-level collegiate soccer (Maryland State President Cup 2017 runners up with his U18G team). MRM United '03G The MRM United 03 team will be holding tryouts for dedicated girls born in 2003. Our teams play year round participating in NCSL during the Spring and Fall, Super Y during the Summer, and a Winter scrimmage league. We train 2-3 days weekly on a turf fields and will participate in at least 4 competitive tournaments yearly. Winter training is held indoors in our new training facility and weather permitting, outdoors on the turf fields. The team is coached by Peter Summerfield who played and coached professionally in England and holds both English FA and UEFA Class B license, and an English FA Goalkeeper license. Pete emphasizes (possession strategies, tactical awareness combined with speed, agility, and high soccer IQ play.
