The St. James 2025-26 NCSL Winter Futsal League Presented by Nike

The St. James and NCSL are proud to host the sixth consecutive Winter Futsal League, providing youth players across the region with a premier futsal experience. This partnership continues our mission to make futsal accessible to area teams and create a positive environment for emerging players.

Divisions

(Boys & Girls):

  • U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, High School

Nike Elite Division (Application-Based, Boys & Girls):

  • U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14

  • Teams must have futsal experience and a competitive outdoor record.

  • Application is built into registration

  • Teams are evaluated based on futsal/tournament history, outdoor league success, and experience in programs such as US Futsal, US Youth Futsal, EDP National League, Girls Academy, NCSL D1, MLS NEXT, ECNL-RL, and ECNL.

  • Games Guaranteed: 7 

  • Livestreaming: Games will be livestreamed for families and fans.

  • Where:

    • The St. James (South): 6805 Industrial Rd, Springfield, VA 22151

    • Dulles SportsPlex (North): 21610 Atlantic Blvd, Sterling, VA 20166

  • When: (Sundays) November 30, 2025 –  February 22nd, 2026

  • Scheduling Notes:

    • Possible doubleheaders on select weekends due to coach conflicts, referee, or venue availability.

    • All conflict requests must be submitted during registration.

    • Schedule released Friday, Nov. 21st 

  • Playoffs: Seeded based on points and records (1st vs. 2nd, 3rd vs. 4th, etc.) to ensure every team ends with a meaningful match.

Team Requirements

  • Roster: 5 minimum, 12 maximum

  • Format: 5v5 futsal

Rules

  • Abbreviated U.S. Futsal Laws of the Game adapted for The St. James Winter League.

  • All matches officiated by U.S. Futsal-certified referees.

  • Match Duration: 40 minutes (all age groups).

  • Champions receive medals.

Key Action Dates

  • Early Bird Registration Ends: Until Wednesday, Oct. 1st – $899 per team

  • Regular Registration: Thursday, October 2nd - Sunday, Oct. 27 – $999 per team

  • Late Registration: Saturday, Nov. 1 – $1,075 per team

  • Schedules Announced: Friday, Nov. 21st

  • Coach & Manager Meeting: TBA
